"I went for a morning coffee and croissant and had a very warm welcome from the head chef, while he was carrying the freshly baked pastries to the window. It has charming décor and an irresistible aroma of freshly baked croissants, making the whole restaurant feel like a little Parisian escape. The pastries are perfectly buttery and flaky; and the ambiance is relaxed, and there is also a no laptop policy, making it ideal for catching up with friends or unwinding with a good book."

There is honestly no place like this one. The brunch is phenomenal. The coffee and matcha are perfect every time. The pastries and breads are out of this world, easily the best baguettes and croissants in the entire borough. And their eggs Benedict and eggs Royal are absolute perfection. Over countless visits, we’ve been served by Nazim, Hussein, Selma, Fatiha, Anna, Riad, Duleena and Dileka, and every single one of them has been wonderful. It is the kind of service that makes you feel like a regular long before you technically become one. It truly is a hidden gem . And just to prove how good it is: my fiancé ordered a tarte au citron the first time we stepped in Montparnasse, and there is no photo of it because it disappeared in seconds. "Shakshuka was impeccable, the granola and gateau were great too. The interior is beautiful. No prices are shown on anything (unless I am mistaken) and when I asked for the prices the server looked at me strange and generally handled me asking for prices in a bit of a rude manor. Seating was a little cramped."

"The best croissants we've had outside Paris! We had them all on various visits, the plain, tomato and cheese, mushroom and cheese as well as the ham and cheese. Absolutely amazing (we ate them before taking photos ).. On another occasion, we had the raspberry tart which was full of fruit, and the croque monsieur, both very delicious.. The atmosphere is cosy and the staff are very friendly and efficient. It's definitely become our favourite café!"
